I learned about the Casino coupe when Gibson was doing their Epiphone give away. I have to say its great to see Gibson investing again in Epiphone. This is a really nice guitar it sounds and feels great to play. It will fit right in with Gibson The Casino Coupe is the iconic hollowbody Casino reborn in a smaller, comfortable ES-339 body size. Featuring Epiphone's Dogear P-90T Classic™ single-coil pickups, a Mahogany neck, and vintage styled machine heads. Now available in Cherry, Vintage Sunburst, and new Turquoise color finishes. I own two Strats, two Eastwood Stormbirds as well as a LP Goldtop. While I'd probably prefer a full-sized Casino for aesthetic/proportional purposes, the Casino Coupe is amazingly comfortable to play, both standing and sitting. It's also extremely light, and is surprisingly well balanced. No hint of neck dive; when I'm playing with a strap and take both hands off the guitar, it stays put. The review unit is finished in a softly golden-shaded Natural, which is somewhat blond in tone, with the maple's grain slightly subdued by, but still easily visible through the finish.
