Switched from Ignition Casino zone to Bet Online HUSNG. Any good HU resources?
So far its shooting fish in a barrel. Is HU more variance than other games? Seems like it since a lot goes into pots and theres not a lot of folding pre flop. What are your guys' best HU resources? I have Mersenneary's free Ebook though I will admit it's hard for me to read and absorb poker books. Reading about poker for more than 10 minutes makes me want to play. And of course I about fall asleep every night listening to Phil Ghalfond's super soothing voice. Other than that though don't have much good HU literature.

Since we are all throwing out new formats, how about a new Commander variant? Ante Up.
The rules are pretty simple, but they are easy enough to make sure you lose your friends.
It's a variant of EDH, so a lot of the same rules apply:
- Life total starts at 40
- Singleton format
- Color identity applies (except for ante cards)
- Commander damage is 21, with one more rule that is different
- London Mulligan
- Same banlist as the Rules Committee for EDH, except for the ante cards.
Changes:
- All the Ante cards are unbanned. You may choose to run any ante card in any deck, regardless of the color identity of your commander. You still have to pay the costs associated with that card however.
- At the beginning of the game, everyone antes up the top card of their deck as they did in the old days. Winner of the 4-player pod gets all the cards.
- If you kill someone with commander damage at exactly 21 damage and say, "Blackjack" as you do so, the person you killed gives you the possession of their ante'd card immediately, and that card does not end up going to the winner of the pod. If you end up losing, you can replace your own ante'd card with the blackjack card.
- There is no commander tax. However, every time you cast your commander beyond the first time (think of it as the free buffet at the casino), you have to ante up another card. If you are playing with partner, only the first partner you cast is free. Beyond that? You have to raise the bet.
- Also, I guess we add a "Know When to Fold'em" Clause. You can concede at sorcery speed to keep any card you ante'd up, as long as you ante up two more cards to replace the one you want to keep.
- You have to play Kenny Rodgers as you play, or that sweet theme from Persona 5 where it's in the casino palace. That, or you can play the Casino Zone theme from Sonic.
Make sure to pay Ante Up with all your closest friends!
If it's not clear, no, I do not want Ante Up to be a new format, just poking fun at the fact that there is a new format every other day. Anyways, keep posted, because I will be creating another much needed and much asked for format within the next month. It will be something that is going to be innovative. Truly.

How Does The I of Now Play Sonic 3 Correctly?
I have gotten intrigued with the Sonic franchise lately and I have played the first game, the second, and I am on the third. But I can't comprehend the third game, it just seems like the game wants to me to go fast on certain points, but when I do I just land into spikes, enemies, or both. So far I am at the casino zone and I want to go jump in an active volcano because of the level design.

In your opinion, which Zone(s) you dont like to play it or at least had enough of playing it?
Sometimes when Im playing a certain game, when I go to X zone I start to feel lazy to play it, cause or I played so many times that I know every single path or I just cant play it on how hard or bad it is
I have my own list:
Studiopolis Is not that I dont like this zone, is pretty beautifull, but idk I have played enough, I dont think theres new stuff in every single path and it was the most promoted zone for Mania, so I kinda had enough with it
Spring Yard Labyrinth Zone is the worst in Sonic 1? My ass, SY is way worse IMO, Casino Night fixed everything in a "Casino zone style", and I yet prefer Collision Chaos over any other cassino style zone's out there. Ok back to SY, idk the design makes the zone so slow and platforming, and the problem is not with platforming cause I fucking love Sky Base, but in SY its just... weird
Flame Core The problem is with "Act 2" in Sonic's history, the entire zone is waay dark and the song somehow makes me wanna puke, and Knuckles section is so buggy that it became a meme.
Those are the only ones I could think of by now, I would like to hear some opinions

Diamond casino Gold/Agro & Cayo perico document run - looking for a team for another time. EST Zone.
So as the title suggests I have a Gold agro heist ready to go and a first run of the CP heist as well. I'm lv303 & have a mic if needed.
CP has some artwork scoped and other secondary targets mapped (mostly Canna I'm pretty sure). The only preps that are needed would be approach vehicles, I've done everything else. If anyone wants to run a two-fer during the evening, EST, we'll work out % and have a nice little pay day.

Casino Night zone feeling funky
R* really needs to fix this goddamn glitch. Happened to me numerous times now. After finishing a casino heist, my special caego warehouse got raided. But i got loaded into the arcade negative zone. When I was able to get out by killing myself numerous times, I alread lost half of my warehouse cargos
So, been playing Sonic Pocket Adventure for the first time.
It's actually pretty good. The gameplay feels just right, and the level gimmicks work just as they did years before. Yes, the levels are old ones, but the layouts are original, and so are most of the bosses.
And the classic music goes with their new locations better than you'd think. For instance, the bonus stage themes from Sonic 3 and S&K are great for Cosmic Casino Zone, Flying Battery's tune is a surprisingly fitting choice for the Knuckles fight in Aquatic Relix Zone and it's lovely to hear Azure Lake in Sky Chase Zone.
